Your account

Until the beginning of May 2022 you could create an account on Tikata. With that account you can do some settings, such as: "I don't want to see deals that require Air Miles" (because I don't have Air Miles) or "I don't want to see deals that you can only pay with Apple Pay".

In the distant past you could also indicate with which group of people (for example 2 adults and 2 children) you went out. In that distant field, we still had a calculator on Tikata that calculated what was the best deal on the day you selected, with your chosen group.

We no longer have that calculator. Why? Because the information needed to make that calculation is often not available. We therefore focus more on looking for the cheapest deal than all kinds of complicated tools with which you might be lucky enough to get a good deal.

We don't trust Facebook at all, so maybe creating an account with Facebook is a little less work, but at least you know for sure that all your data will be sold to Mark Zuckerberg. A Tikata account is much simpler and if you ever (finally) stop using Facebook, you can still log in to Tikata.

In addition, we think it is important that Tikata is completely anonymous. We don't need to know who you are and what else you do on the internet. We only want to honestly offer you the cheapest deal for a day out.

And what about my existing account?

We will manually delete all existing accounts in the coming weeks. They will then no longer be usable from about mid-May 2022. Do you have questions? No problem: go to our contact form, ask anything you want to ask and we will try to answer as soon as possible.
