Tikatadeals.com is a fast-growing platform that compares prices of tickets for more than 1250 days out in various European countries and the US. Started in 2017 as a Dutch site, more than 1.6 million people have already found the best deal for their day out.
Because we were already called the Trivago of the days out here and there, it was time for an international version of Tikata at the beginning of 2020. Despite the corona period, we have continued to grow and we will break all visitor records in 2022.
In the news
Despite the fact that we have only been live since the summer of 2017, the Dutch version of Tikata has already had some nice media attention: in 2017 both van de Telegraaf and RTL Nieuws and the Belgian site VTM-news. Later, another article by Emerce followed. Also in 2018, our press release was well picked up.
EditieNL made a TV item about our research. If you missed it on TV, it'll be here again. Besides rtl's attention we were also very happy with the 2 blogs on BusinessInsider.nl (article 1 and article 2) In 2019 we received a call from Radio 1, RTL news wrote a nice article and we could be seen on TV West to explain that the price increase (17% in 5 years according to cbs) was not so bad
The target group of Tikata.nl was in 2022: 70% women, 30% men. 88% of visitors come from the Netherlands and they mainly use their mobile (68%). For more facts check out our fact sheet.
